Suzanne Mills-Wemm - Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe; Enrolled tribal member, artist, singer, songwriter, US Navy Veteran (Cryptologic Technician, CTR2), and Ogitchidaakwe (Warrior Woman). LCO is located near Hayward, WI.
Suzanne is also a 2nd Degree Midewiwin and member of the Three Fires Midewiwin Society Lodge. She carries the responsibility for a self-painted Eagle Staff and a Pipe. Suzanne is proud of her service as a US Navy Veteran and spent nearly 5 years as a Cryptologic Technician (Signals Intelligence).
Suzanne excelled in art courses during her formative years and from University of Maryland / College Park. Suzanne enjoys painting and 'changing-up' the Eagle Staff which she carries for the “Water and for Those who cannot speak.”
Suzanne has a powerful voice that was influenced since childhood. Like many others, she came to realize the vibration in her voice can be used like medicine. Especially when it's blended with other singers. She stresses it all through frequency. Vibration & Sound.
